(2) If the head office of the insurance company applying for renewal according to sub-rule (1) is outside Nepal, such foreign insurance company shall attach to the application for renewal according to this rule the certificate of renewal of the certificate obtained from the authorized authority of its country to conduct insurance business in accordance with the prevailing laws of that country. (3) According to this rule, if the insurance application is received before the deadline specified in subsection (1) of section 11 of the Act for renewal of the certificate, the committee may renew the certificate subject to subsection (3) of section 11 of the Act.
